My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

excuse me?

Under the category "Trying not to take it personally."

At Target today a woman asked my daughter, "Are you here with your grandma or your mom?"

Now, I know my hair could stand to be dyed, but ... grandma? Do I look like Grandma?? I'm going to go with the theory that she must have had extraordinarily bad eyesight.

There is no way you look like a Grandma!

There are so many kids having babies WAY TO YOUNG...so that it's not inconceivable that you would be only 30something and a grandma. My bff in Kindegarten just sent her son off to college.

That's weird.... Kristy Cowell "little" was asked the same question a while back.

People should just assume you're the mom! Oh, and you DON'T look like a Grandma!

It's definitely her, not you. You would think, though, that if nothing else she would notice the baby bump... :)
