i understand

I was recently in my car, listening to Josh Groban, whom I love (think what you will of this infatuation), and I was singing along, at the top of my lungs. And I sounded good. I mean, really good. So you see, sometimes I understand why those seriously deluded people on American Idol think they can sing. They probably sound really good in their car. They probably DO sound just like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Bono. If only they could perform for Simon while sitting in their car ... even I might give it a go.
