My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

Eight Months!

Our little girl is eight months old already! I feel like I JUST posted her seven-month pictures. Actually, I think I did just post those ... Anyway, here's a few from her eight-month photo shoot. She's wearing a dress I got in a hand-me-down bag ... its so cute I needed some pics of her in it! So, here they are. Its hard to choose just a few, so you're just going to have to wade through the cuteness, I'm afraid.

Let's see ... at eight months she's having fun waving at everything. Well, opening and closing her outstretched hand. We're working on teaching her it means hello and good-bye. At her last weigh-in a few days ago she weighed 18 pounds, and she's wearing size 3 diapers! She's holding her own bottle (though still in need of supervision, for help when she drops it), which is a huge help to Mom and Dad. She loves to laugh, be held upside down, eat, take baths and never fusses when its time for bed. Yes, she truly is an extraordinary child. :)
