Do you remember my sad chocolate chip cookies from a while ago? They came out all flat and crispy. I've been reticent to try again, because I just couldn't figure out what had gone wrong. I considered several suggestions, deciding it must have been old baking soda, bought new baking soda, and last night, with some trepidation ... I tried again. And. They. Turned. Out. Awesome! We have perfect chocolate chip cookies in the house once again. I didn't take a picture, I'm afraid, so you'll have to take my word for it. I'm guessing it WAS the baking soda, because as far as I can tell, that's the only change I made to get my cookies cooking right again. Here's to holiday baking!
