My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

Josie's first roller coaster

Last night Caleb and I went to Disneyland to meet his family celebrating his nephews' third birthday. The weather was perfect and the park wasn't too crowded. After dinner, we took Josephine on her first ride: the carousel. We managed to get the one bench all to ourselves, and Josie seemed to greatly enjoy all the lights and music. In fact, it wore her out ... she fell asleep almost as soon as she got back in her stroller.

Jo was dressed the part in her princess onesie, with Cinderella and Aurora on it. She did her best to change the color of the entire thing with her drool. Her fist has become her new favorite chew toy, and the result is great amounts of drool.

Me and Josie on the carousel. We both enjoyed ourselves (despite the look on her face).
