She decided to live the life she'd always imagined.

It's a little different, but that "I want to crawl under the covers" feeling was the same. They year my dad died I spent a month hiding from my feelings. I went to the library once a week. Usually I go once a month. I spent many days curled up in my bed with all the kids (2,4, &6). I lit candles all through the house. And almost every day there was a fire in the fireplace. Light some candles today. Read some. Read for yourself, and read to the kids. Somedays that's all you can do.
