My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

Father's Day

Yesterday was the annual Weston celebration blowout! In one day we celebrate the dads (Caleb, Lucas and Bob) and all the June birthdays (Josie, Bob, Heidi and Pam). June is a big month for the Westons. We celebrated with a big lunch of turkey and sweet potatoes (a new recipe Christie tried that was definitely delish) and salad and green beans and stuffing. It was a little like Thanksgiving, but who says those yummy foods have to stay relegated to November? Opening presents took almost as long as Christmas morning. But great fun was had by all. I got a few random pictures, mostly of our girls in their fancy dresses.

Thanks to friends Brent & Darcy for the girls' oh-so-cute summer dresses.

Ella is such a happy baby. I just wish I could get her to sleep past 5 a.m.

Josie would not be torn from the Legos.

The best baby daddy in the whole wide world!
