My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

the wedding

Josie was in her first wedding yesterday! She was carried down the aisle by Caleb, but dutifully held her beautiful bouquet the entire walk! Of course, when her role was over she just wanted to play, so Caleb had to take her elsewhere for the entire ceremony. I suppose she had fulfilled her duty to add the "cuteness factor" she was hired for. Anyway, the happy couple are Brent and Amanda. Brent is an adopted son of sorts of my in-laws'. They are counted as part of the Weston clan, and they wanted as many of the Weston grandkids in the wedding as possible. Caleb's brother's boys were ring bearers, and only made it down the aisle to the second row, where their mom was sitting. Kids definitely keep things unpredictable! Here's a few fun pictures from the weekend. Stay tuned for more!

Brent and Amanda (currently honeymooning in Hawaii).

During the mother-son dance, Josie so enjoyed the music she slowly danced her way right onto the dance floor. She ended up joining Brent and Pam for their dance!

Ah, the part of the wedding where the baby starts losing it, we let Josie eat too many jelly beans and Mom and Dad wonder if they're going to make it much longer.

The ceremony was held outside, so the venue provides umbrellas for all the guests. Josie had a ball with them!
