My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

one month old

Eleanor Jean Louise turned one month old on Jan. 21, and would you believe I actually did the photo shoot ON the day? With Josie, I don't think that ever happened ... making it even more amazing that my second child should get such an honor. Anyway, Ella is doing well. Sleeping well at night, not so much during the day. But I'd rather have that than have her up all night and asleep all day, right? She weighed in at 11 pounds 6 ounces and 22 inches long at a 4-week dr. appointment. Its hard to remember how young she is when she's so big! But I just love her big cheeks, her extra chin and the wrinkles she already has on her arms and legs. So much to pinch and love! Here's a few pics from the shoot.
