My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

we're back!

It's amazing to me how quickly time goes by when you're on vacation ... always a little too quickly, if you ask me. We were crazy, and did the drive home from Prairie Creek in one day, arriving at almost exactly 4 a.m. Sunday morning. Fortunately, Josie slept well in the car. However, for Caleb and I ... we've spent today fighting extreme exhaustion to unpack the car and the tent trailer and do laundry and grocery shopping before the week begins. But I wouldn't trade vacation for anything! The Redwoods were gorgeous and peaceful and the weather was perfect .... well, except for the last two days when it rained. I didn't mind the rain so much actually .... until we had to pack up in it. Everything got so wet! (Isn't Josie oh-so-cute in her rain jacket?) It was an adventure, that's for sure. More stories and pics to come as I have a chance to sort through them.
