My Journey through Breast Cancer

On October 11, 2013, I was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) ... or as we like to call it, extreme measures for a nap (EMFN). For a while, this blog will be my cancer journal. Enter at your own risk.

a few pictures

I've been seriously neglecting my blog lately. But there's not been a lot to talk about lately, and nobody wants to read about the banana bread I'm making, how I finished not only folding the laundry, but putting it AWAY, and how my dog hasn't pooped in the house in several days. These are the things that have been going on of late. So instead of trying to come up with entertaining things to say, here are a few pictures of life of late.

The book I'm reading (I just got it for my birthday!)

The banana bread I just made ... if only I could post the scent as well as the picture ...

A bag I just made. It was knitted, then washed a couple times to felt it. I call it my Harry Potter Bag.

The first dishcloth I've ever made. I've never really seen myself as a dishcloth maker, but it was a great way to get some quick closure on a knitting project.

My puppy. Isn't she cute ... in her "my head's too big for my body and my ears are too big for my head but I'm smarter than my masters" kind of way.

The Magician's Nephew is my favorite Narnia book. You get in a lot of reading time. I suppose I could too if I wasn't playing the Wii so much. Either way. There is a little something for you going to the post office tomorrow. Hope you enjoy it!

Wait. Isn't your birthday not yet. But, yet you're reading already. You must have celebrated over the weekend. I hope it was fun.

I love the market bag. It came out great. And the heart cloth is cute too.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday ..tomorrow! And It's great that your birthday present is no longer peeing on the floor =0)

Ender's Game is a FANTASTIC book, one my mine and Ryan's favorites. If you ever need the subsequent books that follow let us know, I think we pretty much have all of them. Enjoy! :)
